Joseph Gunho Jang (they/them) is an American poet whose work has appeared or is forthcoming in The American Poetry Review, The Margins, Michigan Quarterly Review, Waxwing, and elsewhere. They earned an MFA in Poetry from Washington University in St. Louis, where they received The Howard Nemerov Prize in Poetry. Jang’s manuscript was a finalist for the 2020 APR/Honickman First Book Prize, judged by Li-Young Lee. Their chapbook was the runner-up for the 2019-2020 New Delta Review Chapbook contest, judged by Jos Charles.
